“Azul” (Scott’s skin serum)

Here is the item and ingredients you will need to purchase. They can all
be obtained on Ebay at little cost. Purchase from U.S. sellers.

1. 540 Titanium Micro-needle Derma Roller – Costs about $5.50. They come in different needle sizes… I use 1mm. If your skin is very delicate you may want to use a smaller needle size at first.

2. L-Lysine powder (Amino Acid) – Costs about $4.50 to $5.00 for about 1 to 2 ounces.

3. L-Glycine powder (Amino Acid) – Costs about $10.00 for about 3.5 ounces.

4. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) powder (carbohydrate polymer) – Costs about $9.00 for about 1/3 of an ounce.

5. DMAE powder (Dimethylaminoethanol) – Costs about $12.00 for 9 ounces.

6, Optionally – To make Azul Plus – Methylene blue in liquid form. Costs about $6.50 for 4 ounces and can be bought in most any pet shop or on Ebay (Kordon Methylene Blue). Also, optionally – Arrowroot (a food starch) found in the baking section of most grocery stores, inexpensive but price varies on amount you wish to purchase.

7. Aloe Vera gel (98% to 99% pure) – A good brand is “Lily of the Desert
Gelly” – cost is about $6.00 for a 4 oz. tube and it is also sold in a
larger quantity of 12 oz and 24 oz. Whatever commercial brand that you decide to buy be sure it is at least 98% pure Aloe. There are a lot of Aloe gels being sold that contain a mixture of other chemicals, and more of them, than real Aloe.

8. Small 2 ounce glass spray bottle – cost about $3.00 to $4.00. You can
use similar size glass spray bottles you may already have in your home.

9. Distilled Water

10. One larger glass bottle with cap.

The above amounts of ingredients should allow you to make an ample
supply of the serum to last perhaps 6 months. Far less than the cost of
much more expensive serums that probably do not work as well.

Here is what to do with all the above:

Azul Basic

1. Thoroughly mix equal parts (50/50) of the Lysine and Glycine powder together and dissolve 1/4 of a level teaspoon of this combined powder to 2 ounces of distilled water to be added to the spray bottle.

2. Before using the Derma Roller mist your face with the Lysine/Glycine
solution. Allow the solution to remain on the surface of your skin and then use the Derma Roller. Roll the Derma Roller  ten times in one direction over an area and then another 10 times in another direction over the same area. You should feel a mild stinging, if not you may have to add a small amount of more L/G powder to the water. If the stinging is too uncomfortable then dilute with water the solution you have made.

3. Every 3rd night use the 1mm Derma Roller on your face using moderate
pressure, rolling ten times in one direction over an area and then
another 10 times in another direction over the same area. Over time this
will cause your body to build up collagen under the skin. It will also
help the skin to absorb the gel serum you will next apply. Wash your
face with warm water before using the Roller Derma which you should keep
clean and not share with others.

4. Next, without wiping dry your face, apply the Aloe/HA/DMAE gel serum
you will make all over your face and lightly use the Roller Derma a
second time but it is not necessary to make another 10 passes over any
area. You need not use a lot of this gel serum

5. Expect to feel a tightening of the skin as gel serum is quickly absorbed into the skin.

6. You are done for the night!

7. In the morning you can again apply the Aloe/HA/DMAE gel. You should
use it once each day or twice a day if you want to apply it before
sleeping. After applying you may wish to gently pat the skin as this appears to help absorption, causing the skin to tighten.

Here is how to make the Aloe/HA/DMAE gel serum.

1. Add 2 and 1/2 level teaspoons of HA powder to 1 cup (8 ounces) of ice
cold distilled water in a glass bottle. The water should be just a few
degrees above freezing or the powder will not convert to a gel. When you
initially add the powder it will clump together but within 24 hours the
clumps will dissolve into a gel. Put the bottle into the fridge, not
the freezer, in the coldest lower areas of the fridge. Let remain in the
fridge for 24 hours, periodically shaking the container until all the
lumps have dissipated.

2. After the HA has formed into a gel add 1 level teaspoon of DMAE powder and shake until the DMAE powder has dissolved.

3. Next add the HA/DMAE gel to the Aloe Vera gelly making a gel serum of
about 50% Aloe Vera and 50% HA/DMAE in another glass container. It is not necessary that you store this prepared gel serum in the fridge.

To make Azul Plus:

The last ingredients to optionally add to the skin serum formula is Methylene Blue and Arrowroot (a food starch). Methylene Blue comes in the form of a liquid or powder, use the liquid form. I have just recently added Methylene blue to the formula based on this recent article:

Methylene Blue Fights Aging Skin

If you decide to use Methylene Blue powder instead of liquid M.B. be aware that only a very very tiny amount of M.B., in powder form, will be needed not because it is unsafe to use in larger amounts but because even the smallest amount can stain anything a deep blue color including your skin.

It is best to first test the amount you want to use in a 8 ounce glass of water, either liquid or powder M.B. Use enough drops to turn the water to a blue color but not dark blue. Add the same amount to the prepared skin serum after testing it on the back of your hand to be sure that you have not used so much as to stain your skin blue.

Methylene blue has long been used in aquarium water to prevent various fish diseases.

The amount of Arrowroot to use is up for you to decide, the more you use the thicker the serum becomes and it will help to further diminish wrinkles. Arrowroot can be purchase in grocery stores in the food baking products section.

Start with just adding 1/2 level teaspoon to 8 ounces of the prepared serum. Arrowroot will not readily dissolve in the serum so after adding it to the serum it will be necessary to microwave the serum for 1 to 2 minutes to heat it up and then stir it until dissolved. You only want to heat the serum up but not to the point it starts boiling or rapidly steaming. You can also heat it up on your stove at a very low temperature so as not to crack any type of glass container you have prepared the serum in.  Add more if you want to further thicken the serum.

This link will give you more info on the benefits of Arrowroot –  Click Here.

It takes time for your body to produce collagen and rejuvenate the skin
cells. You should see minor improvement of your complexion in about 2
weeks but the most impressive results will take about 3 months to be
seen.

You can Google information on all the ingredients used to inform yourself of their value.

Thanks for ordering these directions!

Scott
