All text on this web site is an expression of the sole belief, or opinion, of the owner (dba Kombucha America) and as such is protected under Amendment 1 (Freedom of Speech) of the Constitution of the United States.

Wherever it is stated on this web site that Kombucha Tea can improve health in general, or remedy a particular illness, those statements are solely based on the personal belief of the owner who himself drinks Kombucha Tea daily, adamantly believes it has improved and maintains his good health, and has researched available information supporting his belief that Kombucha does improve health and "may" help improve other illnesses commented on.

Any customer before purchasing Kombucha Mushroom cultures from us are encouraged to investigate for themselves, by researching readily available information on the internet, as to the merits of the beliefs stated on this web site.

No text on this web site should be construed by the reader to indicate that the all natural Kombucha cultures provided to customers are being provided as a medicine, or that they are being provided as a guaranteed cure or remedy for any illness, cultures as provided are not sold for consumption.

Cultures are only provided to the customer so that they can home brew their own Kombucha Tea. This web site does state the belief of the owner that Kombucha Tea home brewed by the customer may help to improve health and may help to remedy other illnesses, a belief also supported by millions of other people who also drink Kombucha Tea. This web site, however, does not sell Kombucha Mushroom Tea.

For those of you who are not aware of it Kombucha Mushroom Tea is now being commercially produced, bottled, and expensively sold throughout the U.S. in grocery and health food stores without any objections noted from the F.D.A.

It has not been proven to the satisfaction of any government health agency that Kombucha Tea can cure any illness. However, such agencies (like the F.D.A.) are not mandated to conduct such health studies and the selling of Kombucha cultures does not require F.D.A. approval as they are not sold for consumption, or if consumed, no health claims are made that the cultures themselves, if eaten, improve health.

Information provided as is without any express or implied warranties. While every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on this web site, Kombucha America and the owner assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions, or for damages resulting from the use of the information contained herein. Kombucha Mushroom cultures are provided only to make Kombucha Tea which is home brewed by the customer and recommended to be taken as a dietary supplement (see definition) only.

This disclaimer is published in response to a rather stupid accusation made by the U.K. Office of Fair Trading who believes we may be misleading the public. We do not believe we are and if you do simply do not buy our product!

One more thing. . . Some bureaucrats have a problem understanding what the word "may" means. So for their enlightenment we wish to inform them that where this word appears on this web site it should be read in the context of "might" or "there is a possibility of" leaving open the possibility that it "may not" or "might not". The word is not used to imply "a certainty". . . Good Grief!

We encourage any reader of this disclaimer to email us any suggestions how this disclaimer can be improved to protect further the rights and well-being of our customers, or the owner of this web site.
